कोरोना महामारी ने इस बार सबसे अधिक चोट पर्यटन व्यवसाय पर की है।
पर्यटन से जुड़े व्यवसाइयों को उम्मीद थी कि क्रिसमस और नववर्ष पर पर्यटकों की आमद होगी, लेकिन जिस हिसाब से बुकिग हो रही है उससे बड़ा झटका लग सकता है।
दिसंबर में होने वाले क्रिसमस और थर्टी फर्स्ट जैसे बड़े आयोजन के लिए बीते वर्षो तक इसके लिए अक्टूबर से होटलों की एडवांस बुकिग शुरू हो जाती थी। दिसंबर शुरू हो गया है। इसके बाद भी बहुत कम बुकिंग हुई है। कोरोना काल से पहले नवंबर तक 60 फीसदी से अधिक होटल पैक हो जाते थे, लेकिन इस साल पांख् फीसद होटल भी बुक नहीं हुए हैं। होटल एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष बबलू नेगी ने बताया कि कौसानी में कुल 45 होटल और रिसॉर्ट हैं। अब तक थर्टी फर्स्ट और 25 दिसंबर को लेकर बेहद कम बुकिग आई है। केवल चार से पांच प्रतिशत तक ही बुकिग हुई है। होटल कारोबारियों को दिसंबर में बुकिग बढ़ने की उम्मीद है। पिछले साल तक 25 दिसंबर और थर्टी फर्स्ट तक होटलों के 80 प्रतिशत कमरे बुक रहते थे। जिनमें से नवंबर तक ही 35 से 40 प्रतिशत तक बुकिग हो जाती थी। कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए फिलहाल कोई बुकिग कैंसिल नहीं हुई है।
लगातार बढ़ रहा है संक्रमण:
बढ़ते संक्रमण और अन्य राज्यों की कोरोना महामारी के दौरान सख्ती को देखते हुए इस बार भी पर्यटन व्यवसाय मंदा ही रहने की उम्मीद है। लोग अपने घरों से निकलना ही नहीं चाहते हैं। शादी बरातों में भी जाना लोगों ने कम कर दिया है।
पर्यटन व्यवसाय को काफी नुकसान हुआ है। अब हालात सामान्य होने लगे हैं। उम्मीद है कि आने वाले साल पर्यटन क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहे कारोबारियों के लिए खुशी लेकर आएगा।
