कुमाऊं विवि से सम्बद्ध बीएड कॉलेजों के प्रबंधन में इस पाठ्यक्रम की सीटों को भरने के लिए प्रवेश परीक्षा से पहले टेंशन शुरू हो गई है।
खासकर निजी बीएड कॉलेजों में प्रबंधन कोटे की स्ववित्तपोषित तथा मैनेजमेंट कोटे की सीटों प्रवेश सुनिश्चित हों, इसको लेकर कॉलेजों के प्रबंधक अपने संपर्क के माध्यम से इसका तानाबाना बुनने लगे हैं। विवि की बीएड एमएड प्रवेश परीक्षा आठ नवंबर को होनी है। विवि से सम्बद्ध 49 कॉलेजों की चार हजार के करीब सीटें हैं। इसके लिए आठ हजार से अधिक अभ्यर्थियों ने ऑनलाइन आवेदन किया है। अभ्यर्थियों की संख्या बढ़े इसके लिए आवेदन तिथि भी बढाई गई।
साल 2010 के बाद आई कमी:
दरअसल 2010 के बाद शिक्षक पदों के लिए नियुक्तियो के अवसर में कमी की वजह से बीएड को लेकर अभ्यर्थियों में क्रेज कम होता गया। इससे पहले तक एक एक सीट के लिए निजी कॉलेजों ने निर्धारित शुल्क के अतिरिक्त लाखों रुपये में सौदेबाजी की। खासकर एनआरआई कोटे की सीटों की बोली तक लगने लगी थी। फिर मामला हाईकोर्ट तक पहुंचा तो सख्त दिशानिर्देश जारी हुए। राज्य आंदोलनकारी मोहन पाठक के नेतृत्व में बीएड कॉलेजों में गड़बड़ी के खिलाफ व्यापक आंदोलन चला था। नतीजा निकला कि पारदर्शिता के काउंसलिंग के बाद ही दाखिले होंगे। कुमाऊं में नैनीताल के हलद्वानी, उधमसिंह नगर जिले में अधिकांश निजी बीएड कॉलेज खुल गए थे। आधे अधूरे मानकों के साथ बीएड पाठ्यक्रम शुरू हुआ। शासन स्तर से जांच हुई थी। कम आवेदन की वजह से विवि की कमाई भी कम हो गई है।
सरकारी कोटे के लिए बढ़ी प्रतियोगिता:
सरकारी कोटे की बीएड सीटों में दाखिले को लेकर अब प्रतिभागियों में होड़ रहती हैं। हल्द्वानी, पिथौरागढ़, अल्मोड़ा कॉलेजों में सरकारी कोटे की सीटें हैं जिनमें शुल्क बेहद कम है। इसके अलावा सरकारी डिग्री कॉलेजों में स्ववित्तपोषित सीटों के लिए भी कम्पटीशन होता है। बहरहाल इस बार निजी बीएड कॉलेज किस तरह सीटों को भरने का तानाबाना बुनते हैं, यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा।
