मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने जनपद पिथौरागढ़ के तहसील धारचूला के ग्राम जुम्मा में भारी वर्षा से हुए नुकसान के बारे में कुमाऊं कमिश्नर सुशील कुमार एवं अपर जिलाधिकारी पिथौरागढ़ फिंचाराम से वर्चुअल माध्यम से जानकारी ली। मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रभावित क्षेत्र में मौजूद जिलाधिकारी श्री आशीष चौहान से फोन पर राहत व बचाव कार्यों की जानकारी ली।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कुमाऊं कमिश्नर एवं जिलाधिकारी पिथौरागढ़ को निर्देश दिए कि प्रभावित क्षेत्र से लोगों को तत्काल सुरक्षित स्थानों पर लाया जाय। प्रभावितों को रहने के साथ ही खाद्य सामग्री, दवाइयों एवं बच्चों को दूध की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था की जाए। यह सुनिश्चित किया जाय की प्रभावित क्षेत्र में कोई न फंसे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कुमाऊं कमिश्नर को निर्देश दिए की प्रभावित क्षेत्र में यातायात व्यवस्था को जल्द शुरू करने के लिए युद्धस्तर पर कार्य किया जाय। लोक निर्माण विभाग की टीम से जल्द रास्ते का मलवा हटाया जाय। एनएच के जो भी रूट बाधित हो रहे हैं, उनको शीघ्र खुलवाने के लिए जेसीबी एवं अन्य करण की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था रखी जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कुमाऊं कमिश्नर एवं जिलाधिकारी पिथौरागढ़ से बारिश से हुए नुकसान की जानकारी ली । प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार 03 लोगों के मृत्यु एवं 04 लोगों के लापता होने की सूचना है। प्रशासन एवं एसएसबी की टीम घटना स्थल पर राहत एवं बचाव कार्य में जुटी है। जिलाधिकारी पिथौरागढ़ श्री आशीष चौहान प्रभावित क्षेत्र में हैं। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी फोन से जिलाधिकारी से लगातार अपडेट ले रहे हैं। मौसम साफ होते ही मुख्यमंत्री प्रभावित क्षेत्र का दौरा करेंगे।
इस अवसर पर केबिनेट मंत्री श्री गणेश जोशी, विधायक श्रीमती चंद्रा पंत, श्री खजान दास, अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी, आपदा प्रबंधन श्रीमती रिद्धिम अग्रवाल, अपर सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन डॉ. आनन्द श्रीवास्तव, पिथौरागढ़ से वर्चुअल माध्यम से एडीएम श्री फिंचाराम चौहान मौजूद थे।
