उत्तराखंड को अगले छह माह केंद्र से मिलेगी बिजली, काशीपुर गैस प्लांट से मिलेगी मदद
उत्तराखंड के बिजली उपभोक्ताओं और ऊर्जा निगम के लिए राहत की खबर है। केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय ने अगले छह माह तक प्रदेश को अतिरिक्त बिजली प्रदान करने के आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के आग्रह पर केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री आरके सिंह ने यह पहल की है। साथ ही उत्तराखंड को काशीपुर स्थित गैस प्लांट से भी आगामी एक अप्रैल से 321 मेगावाट बिजली प्रतिदिन मिलनी शुरू हो जाएगी।
भीषण गर्मी पड़ने की आशंका के बीच उत्तराखंड में बिजली का संकट पैदा होने का खतरा मंडरा रहा है। हालांकि, बिजली की किल्लत से निपटने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से भी भरसक प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इसी माह केंद्र सरकार से एक साल के लिए उत्तराखंड को 300 मेगावाट अतिरिक्त बिजली आवंटित करने की गुहार लगाई थी। जिस पर केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री की ओर से सकारात्मक संकेत दिए गए थे। अब केंद्र की ओर से फिलहाल छह माह के लिए बिजली प्रदान करने का आर्डर जारी कर दिया है।
ऊर्जा निगम के प्रबंध निदेशक अनिल कुमार ने बताया कि अभी उत्तराखंड को एक अप्रैल से 30 सितंबर तक के लिए अतिरिक्त बिजली दी जा रही है। साथ ही काशीपुर स्थित गैस प्लांट से भी आगामी दो माह के लिए 321 मेगावाट बिजली प्रतिदिन खरीदने का अनुबंध कर लिया गया है।
ऐसे में उम्मीद है कि गर्मियों में उपभोक्ताओं को बिजली कटौती से नहीं जूझना पड़ेगा। यदि बिजली की कमी हुई भी तो रियल टाइम मार्केट से खरीद की जाएगी। सितंबर के बाद आवश्यकता के अनुसार अनुबंध बढ़ाया जा सकता है। इसी के साथ प्रदेश की जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं से उत्पादन बढ़ने से भी राहत मिल सकती है।

जून, 250 मेगावाट
जुलाई, 200 मेगावाट
अगस्त, 200 मेगावाट
सितंबर, 200 मेगावाट।
