‘आत्म निर्भर’ भारत के तहत फेरी वालों के जीवन को पटरी पर लाने के लिए दस-दस हजार रुपये का लोन दिया जा रहा है।
इसे लेकर नगर निगम में बुधवार को दो दिवसीय लोन मेले का आयोजन किया गया। मेले में 16 बैंकों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए। इसमें 106 फेरी वाले ऐसे थे, जिनके आवेदन योजना के तहत लंबित थे, जबकि 96 नए आवेदन आए। बैंकों की ओर से दस्तावेजों की जांच के बाद लोन उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा।
कोरोना के चलते आर्थिक तंगी से जूझ रहे फेरी वालों के लिए सरकार की ओर से यह योजना लाई गई है। जिसमें उन्हें दस हजार रुपये का लोन बेहद कम मासिक किश्त पर उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा। बुधवार को निगम में दो दिवसीय लोन मेले का उद्घाटन नगर आयुक्त विनय शंकर पांडेय ने किया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने बैंकों के प्रतिनिधियों समेत निगम अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि मेले का लाभ अधिक से अधिक आवेदकों को मिले, ऐसे प्रयास किए जाएं। नगर आयुक्त ने फेरी वालों को दूरभाष के जरिए भी लोन मेले की सूचना देने के निर्देश दिए गए। इस दौरान स्टेट बैंक की ओर से 45 आवेदन में से 30 का लोन मंजूर किया गया। साथ ही बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा ने 38 में से 27 का लोन मंजूर किया जबकि पांच मामले विकासनगर निकाय से संबंधित होने के कारण वहीं पर ट्रांसफर किए गए।
उत्तराखंड ग्रामीण बैंक ने आठ में से पांच, सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने 14 में से पांच, पंजाब नेशनल बैंक ने 45 में से 18 आवेदन मंजूर किए। यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने 20 में से आठ मामलों का निस्तारण किया। बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने दस मामलों में सात मामले नामंजूर कर दिए। बताया गया कि इनके आवेदकों के पास बिहार का आधार कार्ड व वहीं का खाता नंबर था। लोन के लिए उत्तराखंड राज्य का आधार कार्ड व स्थानीय बैंक खाता होना जरूरी है।
