जूना अखाड़े के एक हजार नागा तपस्वियों ने दीक्षा ली।
श्रीपंचदशनाम जूना अखाड़ा में सोमवार को चारों मढ़ियों (चार, सोलह, तेरह और चौदह) में दीक्षित होने वाले नागाओं का मुंडन संस्कार हुआ। दु:खहरण हनुमान मंदिर के निकट यह प्रक्रिया हुई। मुंडन के बाद नागाओं को अलकनंदा घाट पर गंगा स्नान कराया गया और सांसरिक वस्त्रों का त्याग कर कोपीन दंड, कंमडल धारण कर कराया गया।
जूना अखाड़ा के सचिव श्रीमहंत मोहन भारती ने बताया कि पंडितों द्वारा नागाओं का स्नान के दौरान स्वयं का श्राद्व कर्म संपन्न कराया गया। करीब एक हजार नागा संन्यासियों को दीक्षित किया गया। संन्यासियों ने ब्राहण पंडितों के मंत्रोच्चार के बीच स्नान करते हुए जीते जी अपना श्राद्व तपर्ण किया।
इसके बाद वापस धर्मध्वजा की तृणियों के नीचे बिरजा होम में संन्यासियों ने भाग लिया। अखाड़े के आचार्य महामंडलेश्वर द्वारा प्रेयस मंत्र दिया गया। प्रेयस मंत्र के बाद संन्यासी पुन: गंगा स्नान करने गए। जहां पर उनका शिखा विच्छेदन किया गया।
नागा संन्यासी बनने के कई कठिन परीक्षाओं से गुजरना पड़ता है:
श्रीमहंत मोहन भारती ने बताया कि नागा संन्यासी बनने के कई कठिन परीक्षाओं से गुजरना पड़ता है। इसके लिए सबसे पहले नागा संन्यासी को महापुरुष के रूप में दीक्षित कर अखाड़े में शामिल किया जाता है।
तीन वर्षों तक महापुरुष के रूप में दीक्षित संन्यासी को संन्यास के कड़े नियमों का पालन करते हुए गुरु सेवा के साथ अखाड़े में विभिन्न कार्य करने पड़ते है। तीन वर्ष की कठिन साधना में खरा उतरने के बाद कुंभ पर्व पर उसे नागा बनाया जाता है। समस्त प्रक्रिया अखाड़े के आचार्य महामंडलेश्वर की देखरेख में सम्पन्न हुई है।
आज स्थापित होगा 141 फीट त्रिशूल्-डमरू:
जूना अखाड़ा सोमवार को ललतारो पुल के निकट दु:खहरण हनुमान मंदिर पर 141 फीट ऊंचा त्रिशूल-डमरु स्थापित किया जाएगा। विधि विधान से पूजन के बाद क्रेन की मदद से त्रिशूल और डमरु को स्थापित किया जाएगा।
