हल्द्वानी में नागरिक संशोधन कानून के विरोध में हाथ में तिरंगा और स्लोगन लिखी तख्तियां लिए भारी भीड़ पहुंचीं। हल्द्वानी के मीरा बाजार में मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोग पहुंचे और तालियों के साथ नारेबाजी की। भीड़ पर काबू पाने के लिए भारी फोर्स तैनात रही।
इस दौरान पुलिस विभाग ने प्रदर्शन की वीडियोग्राफी भी करवाई। प्रदर्शन पर ड्रोन से नजर रखी गई। प्रदर्शन के मद्देनजर पुलिस ने ताज चौराहे को भी सील कर दिया है। हल्द्वानी बाजार के हर चौराहे पर बैरिकेडिंग लगाई गई हैं। नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ निकाली जा रही रैली को लेकर रोडवेज बस स्टेशन, रेलवे बाजार व छतरी चैराहे पर पुलिस बल तैनात है। विरोध को देखते हुए पुलिस अलर्ट मोड पर है। विभिन्न चैराहों के साथ ही महत्वपूर्ण मस्जिदों के पास भी पुलिस फोर्स तैनात है।
