उत्तराखंड के मैदानी इलाकों में मौसम शुष्क है, लेकिन पहाड़ों में बादल छाए हैं। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, उत्तरकाशी, चमोली और पिथौरागढ़ में हल्की बारिश हो सकती है। 3200 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई पर बर्फबारी की संभावना है, जिससे तापमान में गिरावट आ सकती है। देहरादून में धूप खिली है, लेकिन धुंध के कारण ठंड है। बुधवार से मौसम शुष्क रहने का अनुमान है।

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, आज प्रदेश के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में मौसम का मिजाज बदला रह सकता है। उत्तरकाशी, चमोली और पिथौरागढ़ में कहीं-कहीं हल्की वर्षा होने के आसार हैं। 3200 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में हिमपात हो सकता है। जिससे अगले कुछ दिनों में पारे में तेजी से गिरावट की आशंका है।
देहरादून समेत आसपास के क्षेत्रों में सुबह से ही धूप खिली रही। हालांकि, दून में सुबह हल्की धुंध छाई रही, जिससे कंपकंपी बढ़ गई। इसके अलावा दून समेत ज्यादातर मैदानी क्षेत्रों में रात को भी धुंए और धुंध के गुबार छाये हैं।
वहीं, दिन में चटख धूप खिलने से पारा चढ़ रहा है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में भी अभी अधिकतम तापमान सामान्य से एक से दो डिग्री सेल्सियस अधिक बना हुआ है।
रात को पाला पड़ने से अचानक तापमान में गिरावट दर्ज की जा रही है। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के अनुसार, आज और कल प्रदेश में मौसम का मिजाज बदला रह सकता है।
पहाड़ों में वर्षा-बर्फबारी के आसार हैं। इस बीच तापमान में एक से दो डिग्री सेल्सियस तक की वृद्धि हो सकती है। इसके बाद बुधवार से मौसम शुष्क रहने का अनुमान है। जिसके कारण पारे में तेजी से गिरावट आने और प्रदेशभर में कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ने की आशंका है।
