मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को सचिवालय स्थित राज्य आपदा कंट्रोल रूम जाकर प्रदेश में बारिश से हुए नुकसान की जानकारी ली।
मुख्यमंत्री कल से सभी जिलाधिकारियों से हर पल की अपडेट ले रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री अतिवृष्टि से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के हवाई निरीक्षण के लिए जा चुके हैं, प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण भी करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि अतिवृष्टि से जानमाल का जो नुकसान हुआ है। प्रभावितों को मानकों के अनुसार जल्द अनुमन्य सहायता राशि उपलब्ध कराया जाय। मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी जिलाधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि अतिवृष्टि से किसानों का जो नुकसान हुआ है, उसका आकलन कर जल्द रिपोर्ट भेजी जाय।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अतिवृष्टि से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में सेना से तीन हेलीकॉप्टर लगाये जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने जिलाधिकारी चमोली एवं रुद्रप्रयाग को फोन कर निर्देश दिये कि यात्रा मार्गों पर फंसे यात्रियों की सुरक्षा का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए। मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश की जनता से अपील की है कि धैर्य बनाकर रखें। अतिवृष्टि से हुए नुकसान की भरपाई के लिए सरकार द्वारा तेजी से प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। सभी जरूरी इंतजाम सरकार द्वारा किये जा रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर अपर मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन, अपर प्रमुख सचिव अभिनव कुमार, सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एस. ए. मुरूगेशन, अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी मती रिद्धिम अग्रवाल मौजूद थे।
