कैबिनेट मंत्री महाराज ने किये ओल्ड लिपुलेख पास से कैलाश के दर्शन, पहली बार प्रदेश सरकार का कोई मंत्री पहुंचा 18000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर।
देहरादून : पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज प्रदेश के पहले ऐसे मंत्री हैं जिन्होंने जनपद पिथौरागढ़ स्थित ओल्ड लिपुलेख पास की 18000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर पहुंच कर कैलाश के दर्शन कर उत्तराखंड आने वाले शिव भक्तों को संदेश दिया है कि देवाधिदेव महादेव के निवास कैलाश पर्वत के दर्शन के लिए अब उन्हें चीन जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
प्रदेश के पर्यटन, धर्मस्व, संस्कृति, लोक निर्माण, सिंचाई, पंचायतीराज, ग्रामीण निर्माण एवं जलागम मंत्री सतपाल महाराज जनपद पिथौरागढ़ भ्रमण के तहत धारचूला, गुंजी नाभीढांग (ओम पर्वत) होते हुए सोमवार को जोलिंगकोंग पहुंचकर ओल्ड लिपुलेख पास की चोटी पर पहुंच कर देवाधिदेव महादेव भगवान शिव के निवास कैलाश के दर्शन कर पूजा अर्चना की। वह प्रदेश के पहले ऐसे मंत्री हैं जिन्होंने जनपद पिथौरागढ़ स्थित ओल्ड लिपुलेख पास की 18000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर पहुंच कर कैलाश के दर्शन कर उत्तराखंड आने वाले शिव भक्तों को संदेश दिया है कि उन्हें देवाधिदेव महादेव के निवास कैलाश पर्वत के दर्शन के लिए चीन जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। अब वह भारत भूमि उत्तराखंड में आकर भी कैलाश के भव्य और दिव्य दर्शन कर सकते हैं। इस दौरान उनके साथ उनकी पत्नी और पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री अमृता रावत भी मौजूद रहीं।
मंत्री महाराज ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 12 अक्टूबर 2023 की सुबह जब से आदि कैलाश के दर्शन किये तब से बड़ी संख्या में शिव भक्त जोलिंगकोंग पहुंच रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी यही से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर योगाभ्यास कर योग के महत्व को बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि 2019 से कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा बंद होने के कारण शिव भक्त कैलाश पर्वत के दर्शन नहीं कर पा रहे थे। इसलिए सरकार ने तय किया कि वह ओल्ड लिपू पास से उन्हें कैलाश के दर्शन करवायेंगी।
ओल्ड लिपुलेख पास की पहाड़ी के ऊपर से पवित्र कैलाश पर्वत के दिव्य दर्शनों के दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री महाराज के साथ भारतीय सेना, आईटीबीपी और पुलिस के कई जवान भी मौजूद थे।
