मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को नैनीताल जनपद के भवाली स्थित सैनिक स्कूल घोड़ाखाल के हीरक जयंती समारोह का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर आयोजित वार्षिकोत्सव कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने उपस्थित अतिथियों, शिक्षकों, अभिभावकों एवं कैडेट्स का हार्दिक स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया तथा विद्यार्थियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि सैनिक स्कूल घोड़ाखाल न केवल उत्तराखंड बल्कि पूरे देश के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थानों में से एक है, जिसने दशकों से अनुशासन, परिश्रम और राष्ट्रभक्ति से ओत-प्रोत युवा देश को दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह संस्थान केवल किताबी शिक्षा ही नहीं देता, बल्कि छात्रों के व्यक्तित्व, नेतृत्व क्षमता, शौर्य और जिम्मेदारी की भावना का भी निर्माण करता है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि घोड़ाखाल की मिट्टी में एक अलग ही जज्बा है, जो यहां से निकलने वाले कैडेट्स को आगे चलकर भारतीय सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना में श्रेष्ठ अधिकारी बनने के लिए तैयार करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि सैनिक स्कूल घोड़ाखाल द्वारा राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) में सर्वाधिक प्रविष्टियां देने का रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करना और रक्षा मंत्री ट्रॉफी को 10वीं बार जीतना, संस्थान की उत्कृष्टता, अनुशासन और दृढ़ संकल्प का प्रमाण है। इस उपलब्धि पर उन्होंने कैडेट्स, शिक्षकों और स्कूल प्रशासन को बधाई दी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड देवभूमि के साथ-साथ वीरभूमि भी है, जहां की माटी में जन्मे अनेक वीरों ने देश की रक्षा में अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया है। स्वयं को एक सैनिक का पुत्र बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि सैनिक परिवारों में मिलने वाले अनुशासन और राष्ट्रसेवा के संस्कार जीवन की हर चुनौती से लड़ने की शक्ति देते हैं। उन्होंने कैडेट्स से कहा कि स्कूल की वर्दी केवल एक कपड़ा नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, सम्मान और संकल्प का प्रतीक है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सेना और सैनिक स्कूलों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए कई ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाए गए हैं। नई शिक्षा नीति के तहत सैनिक स्कूलों का विस्तार किया जा रहा है और नए सैनिक स्कूल स्थापित किए जा रहे हैं। रक्षा बजट में निरंतर वृद्धि से सेना का आधुनिकीकरण हुआ है और आज भारत रक्षा उपकरणों के निर्यात में विश्व के अग्रणी देशों में शामिल हो चुका है। उन्होंने ‘वन रैंक-वन पेंशन’ योजना को लागू करने को पूर्व सैनिकों के सम्मान और कल्याण की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम बताया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार भी सैनिकों, शहीदों और पूर्व सैनिकों के सम्मान एवं उनके परिवारों के कल्याण के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। शहीदों के परिजनों को दी जाने वाली अनुग्रह राशि में पांच गुना वृद्धि, एक आश्रित को सरकारी नौकरी, पूर्व सैनिकों को विभिन्न छूट तथा वीरता पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित सैनिकों को दी जाने वाली एकमुश्त एवं वार्षिकी राशि में वृद्धि जैसे अनेक निर्णय लिए गए हैं। साथ ही, बलिदानियों की स्मृति में भव्य सैन्य धाम का निर्माण भी किया जा रहा है, जिसका शीघ्र लोकार्पण होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कैडेट्स से आह्वान किया कि वे जीवन में जो भी लक्ष्य निर्धारित करें, उसे “विकल्प रहित संकल्प” के साथ पूरा करें, क्योंकि जब संकल्प दृढ़ होता है तो सफलता अवश्य मिलती है। उन्होंने सैनिक स्कूल घोड़ाखाल के प्रिंसिपल ग्रुप कैप्टन विजय सिंह एवं उनकी टीम को शिक्षा के उच्च मानकों को बनाए रखने के लिए साधुवाद दिया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान बेस्ट जूनियर हाउस, बेस्ट सीनियर हाउस और सी हाउस सहित विभिन्न श्रेणियों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर विधायक नैनीताल श्रीमती सरिता आर्या, विधायक श्री राम सिंह कैड़ा, ब्लॉक प्रमुख डॉ. हरीश बिष्ट, मंडलायुक्त श्री दीपक रावत, आईजी श्री रिद्धिम अग्रवाल, जिलाधिकारी श्री ललित मोहन रयाल, एसएसपी डॉ. मंजूनाथ टीसी सहित बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक एवं गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहे।
