उत्तराखंड में आज से रोडवेज कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर रहेंगे।
उत्तरांचल रोडवेज कर्मचारी यूनियन ने सभी डिपो में पहली बस सेवा से ही हड़ताल का एलान किया है। वहीं, परिवहन निगम ने कर्मचारी यूनियन को वार्ता के लिए बुलाया है। वार्ता के बाद बुधवार को यूनियन आगे का फैसला लेगी।
उत्तरांचल रोडवेज कर्मचारी यूनियन की ओर से वेतन भुगतान सहित सात सूत्री मांग को लेकर देहरादून मंडल में पांच दिन से हड़ताल की जा रही है। अब रोडवेज के सभी मंडलों में 13 जनवरी से हड़ताल शुरू होगी। यूनियन के प्रदेश महामंत्री अशोक चौधरी ने बताया कि यूनियन से जुड़े करीब 3500 कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर रहेंगे। इनमें बड़ी संख्या ड्राईवर और कंडक्टरों की है। इस वजह से बस सेवा करीब 80 फीसदी तक ठप रहने की आशंका है।
हालांकि 20 फीसदी ड्राईवर बसें संचालित करेंगे। उधर, परिवहन निगम ने बुधवार को हड़ताली कर्मचारियों की मांगों पर सुनवाई के लिए वार्ता को बुलाया है। यूनियन के प्रदेश महामंत्री अशोक चौधरी का कहना है कि जब तक उनकी मांगें नहीं मानी जाती, वह आंदोलन जारी रखेंगे। निगम के महाप्रबंधक संचालन दीपक जैन का कहना है कि कर्मचारी यूनियन से वार्ता कर उन्हें मनाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
सड़क हादसे में घायल चालक की मौत, रोडवेज ने दी पांच लाख रुपये की राहत राशि
रोडवेज बस हादसे में घायल 57 वर्षीय चालक की मंगलवार को सुबह एम्स ऋषिकेश में उपचार के दौरान मौत हो गई। उनकी मौत की खबर सुनकर रोडवेज अफसरों में हड़कंप मच गया। निगम ने परिवार को पांच लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता के साथ ही परिवार के एक आश्रित को नौकरी देने की सिफारिश करने का ऐलान किया है।
उत्तरांचल रोडवेज कर्मचारी यूनियन ने आरोप लगाया था कि परिवहन निगम ने यात्रियों की सुरक्षा से खिलवाड़ करते हुए व मोटर वाहन एक्ट की धज्जियां उड़ा बुजुर्ग चालक से रोडवेज अफसरों ने लगातार 2000 किमी की ड्यटी कराई थी। हादसे का कारण भी चालक को नींद आना माना जा रहा था। इस घटना की मजिस्ट्रेटी जांच की मांग करते हुए लगातार ड्यूटी कराने वाले अफसरों पर एफआईआर दर्ज कराने की मांग कर्मचारी यूनियन ने की है।
वहीं, मृतक की पत्नी ने भी अफसरों के विरुद्ध मुकदमा दर्ज कराने, 20 लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता व बेटे को नौकरी देने की मांग की है। बीते पांच दिन से रोडवेज कर्मचारी यूनियन की चल रही हड़ताल के कारण दूसरे संगठनों से जुड़े चालक और परिचालकों को बिना आराम दिए लगातार ड्यूटी कराई जा रही है।
दुष्परिणाम यह हुआ था कि चंडीगढ़ से हरिद्वार होकर कोटद्वार जा रही रोडवेज बस रविवार तड़के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई थी। हरिद्वार डिपो की यह साधारण बस श्यामपुर में सामने से आ ही उत्तर प्रदेश रोडवेज की बस से भिड़ गई थी, जिसमें उत्तराखंड रोडवेज के 55 वर्षीय चालक ओमपाल सिंह बुरी तरह जख्मी हुए थे और उनका ऋषिकेश एम्स अस्पताल में उपचार चल रहा था।
सहायक महाप्रबंधक प्रतीक जैन ने इस घटना पर दुख प्रकट करते हुए मृतक चालक के परिजनों को पांच लाख रुपये की तत्काल सहायता देने की घोषणा के साथ ही परिवार के एक आश्रित को नौकरी देने की सिफारिश करने की भी घोषणा की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि मृतक चालक के सभी देयकों का भुगतान 15 दिन के भीतर कर दिया जाएगा।
