रेलवे बोर्ड ने 11 दिसंबर से देहरादून-उज्जैन और देहरादून-इंदौर एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों के संचालन को मंजूरी दे दी है।
देहरादून से सहारनपुर, मुजफ्फरनगर, मेरठ, नई दिल्ली, मथुरा, आगरा, झांसी, इंदौर और उज्जैन आने-जाने वाले यात्रियों को सुविधा होगी।
स्टेशन अधीक्षक (संचालन) सीताराम शंकर ने बताया कि उज्जैन के लिए मंगलवार और बुधवार को ट्रेन चलेगी। यही ट्रेन बृहस्पतिवार और शुक्रवार को उज्जैन से देहरादून आएगी। इंदौर के लिए शुक्रवार और शनिवार को ट्रेन का संचालन होगा। यह ट्रेन रविवार और सोमवार को इंदौर से देहरादून आएगी।
दोनों ट्रेनें शाम 7:45 बजे देहरादून पहुंचेंगी और सुबह 5:50 बजे इंदौर और उज्जैन के लिए रवाना होंगी। बता दें कि फिलहाल देहरादून से देहरादून-नईदिल्ली शताब्दी, जनशताब्दी, काठगोदाम जनशताब्दी एक्सप्रेस, कोटा नंदा देवी एक्सप्रेस, प्रयागराज लिंक एक्सप्रेस, मसूरी एक्सप्रेस का संचालन किया जा रहा है।
