शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सीमाद्वार, देहरादून में आई.टी.बी.पी द्वारा ‘संकल्प दिवस’ पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने छात्रों एवं जवानों के बीच केक काटकर अपना जन्मदिन मनाया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि सेना एवं विद्यार्थियों से जुड़े कार्यक्रम हमेशा नई ऊर्जा देते हैं। अनेकता में एकता ही भारत की विशेषता है। हमारे जवान देश की सुरक्षा से लेकर हर क्षण सेवा हेतु तत्पर रहते हैं। सैनिकों एवं उनके परिवार का जीवन हमेशा ही संघर्ष भरा रहता है। हमारी सेना एवं अर्धसैनिक बलों का इतिहास हमेशा से ही शौर्य और पराक्रम का रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत का मान सम्मान स्वाभिमान बढ़ा है। उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव पूरे देश में धूमधाम के साथ मनाया गया। अब देश का अमृतकाल शुरू हो चुका है।
इस अवसर पर विधायक सुरेश गड़िया, आईजी आई.टी.बी.पी नीलाभ किशोर, आईटीबीपी के अन्य अधिकारी व जवान तथा केंद्रीय विद्यालय के बच्चे मौजूद रहे।
