मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने लंबे समय से अनधिकृत रूप से अनुपस्थित रहने के मामले में कड़ा रुख अपनाते हुए एक होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सक की सेवा समाप्त करने का अनुमोदन प्रदान किया है। यह निर्णय सरकारी सेवाओं में अनुशासन और जवाबदेही सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
देहरादून जनपद के अंतर्गत राजकीय होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सालय, चकराता में तैनात चिकित्सक डॉ. उमंग शर्मा लगभग दो वर्षों से बिना किसी पूर्व सूचना के अनुपस्थित पाई गईं। संबंधित चिकित्सक को कार्यस्थल पर उपस्थित होने के स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए गए थे, बावजूद इसके वह अपनी तैनाती स्थल पर उपस्थित नहीं हुईं।
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए डॉ. उमंग शर्मा के विरुद्ध मूल नियम 18(3) के अंतर्गत सेवा समाप्ति की कार्रवाई प्रारंभ की गई थी। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस प्रकरण में अंतिम निर्णय लेते हुए अनधिकृत रूप से अनुपस्थित चिकित्सक की सेवा समाप्त किए जाने के औपचारिक अनुमोदन को स्वीकृति प्रदान की है।
राज्य सरकार के इस निर्णय को स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में अनुशासन, कार्यसंस्कृति और जनहित को सर्वोपरि रखने की दिशा में एक स्पष्ट संदेश के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।
