मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने बुक्सा जनजाति के राजा जगतदेव की प्रतिमा का किया वर्चुअल अनावरण..
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज जनपद ऊधमसिंह नगर के गदरपुर क्षेत्र अंतर्गत ग्राम पंचायत रोशनपुर डलबाबा में बुक्सा जनजाति समाज के राजा जगतदेव की प्रतिमा का वर्चुअल माध्यम से अनावरण किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने ग्राम सभा रोशनपुर स्थित श्री डलबाबा मंदिर परिसर में चहारदीवारी, टीनशेड, फर्श एवं शौचालय निर्माण, ग्राम बलरामनगर से खेमपुर तक 3 किलोमीटर सड़क के पुनर्निर्माण तथा ग्राम सीतापुर से एएनके इंटर कॉलेज तक 4 किलोमीटर सड़क के पुनर्निर्माण कार्य की घोषणा की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राजा जगतदेव जी का जीवन त्याग, वीरता, धर्मनिष्ठा और संस्कृति संरक्षण का अमूल्य उदाहरण है। यह अवसर केवल प्रतिमा अनावरण का नहीं, बल्कि बुक्सा जनजाति की गौरवशाली परंपरा, संस्कृति और बलिदान को नमन करने का दिवस है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजा जगतदेव जी ने कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी धर्म और संस्कृति की रक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वस्व समर्पित किया, जो स्वाभिमान और आस्था की अदम्य शक्ति का प्रतीक है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ऊधमसिंह नगर, नैनीताल, कोटद्वार सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में निवासरत बुक्सा समाज अपनी संस्कृति, परंपरा और आत्मसम्मान को जीवंत बनाए हुए है। राज्य सरकार जनजातीय समुदायों के सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण, इतिहास के दस्तावेजीकरण, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, आवास और रोजगार के क्षेत्र में पूर्ण प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि राजा जगतदेव जी की गौरवगाथा पर शोध कार्य होने चाहिए, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियां उनसे प्रेरणा ले सकें।
कार्यक्रम में ब्लॉक प्रमुख ज्योति ग्रोवर, नगर पंचायत अध्यक्ष सतीश चुघ, दायित्वधारी मंजीत सिंह राजू, जिलाधिकारी नितिन भदौरिया तथा वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक मणिकांत मिश्रा सहित अन्य जनप्रतिनिधि एवं अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
