कृषि मंत्री जोशी और महासर्वेक्षक बे बीच मसूरी एवं देहरादून के सर्वे खेल मैदानों को खिलाड़ियों के लिए खोले जाने पर हुई वार्ता।
भारत के महासर्वेक्षक सुनील कुमार द्वारा आज सूबे के कृषि एवं ग्राम्य विकास एवं सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी से शिष्टाचार भेंट की।
कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा ‘‘खेलो इंडिया’’ और ‘‘फिट इंडिया’’ जैसी अभूतपूर्व योजनाओं को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। यह अजीब विडम्बना है कि मसूरी स्थित भारतीय सर्वेक्षण विभाग के एस्टेट में निर्मित खेल मैदान का प्रयोग पूर्व में मसूरी के स्थानीय खेल एसोसिएशनों एवं स्थानीय खेल प्रतिभाओं द्वारा किया जाता था। किन्तु पिछले समय से इस मैदान को बंद कर दिया गया है। मसूरी आवस्थान के दौरान मेरे संज्ञान में कई बार स्थानीय लोगों एवं खेल एसोसिएशनों द्वारा इस प्रकरण को लाया गया और इस मैदान को पुनः स्थानीय खेल प्रतिभाओं एवं स्थानीय खेल एसोसिऐशनों के उपयोगार्थ खोले जाने का अनुरोध किया जाता रहा है।
इसी प्रकार, देहरादून स्थित सर्वे स्टेडियम को भी स्थानीय खेल प्रतिभाओं के लिए के वर्जित किया गया है। आज जबकि शहरों में खेल मैदान तथा ओपन स्पेस सिकुड़े जा रहे हैं। ऐसे में राजधानी की खेल प्रतिभाओं के लिए इन मैदानों को पूर्व की भांति पुनः उलब्ध करवाया जाना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। ताकि स्थानीय खेल प्रतिभाओं व अन्य खिलाड़ियों को इसका लाभ मिल सके।
इस अवसर पर महासर्वेक्षक कार्यालय से नितिन जोशी भी उपस्थित रहे।
