उत्तराखंड मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय में इस बार रिकॉर्ड दाखिले हुए हैं।
देहरादून क्षेत्र में 22,352 और हल्द्वानी क्षेत्र में 19,267 छात्र-छात्राओं ने दाखिला लिया है। विश्वविद्यालय के प्रदेश में सभी आठ क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयों के अंतर्गत 120 अध्ययन केंद्रों पर 74,456 विद्यार्थियों के दाखिले हुए हैं। गत वर्ष के मुकाबले छह हजार से अधिक छात्र संख्या में इजाफा हुआ है।
नवंबर तक अध्ययन केंद्रों पर 60 हजार विद्यार्थियों के दाखिले हुए थे। यह संख्या दाखिले बंद होने की तिथि तक 74 हजार का आंकड़ा पार कर गई। मुक्त विवि के प्रवेश प्रभारी प्रो. मदन मोहन जोशी ने बताया कि प्रवेश ले चुके छात्र-छात्राओं को एसएमएस से जानकारी दी जाएगी।
वहीं, आपको बता दें कि उत्तराखंड मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय में अब विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने आधुनिक लाइब्रेरी का निर्माण कराने की योजना तैयार की है। इस योजना पर छह करोड़ 12 लाख का खर्च आने की उम्मीद है। विश्वविद्यालय के इस प्रस्ताव को शासन ने संस्तुति के साथ अल्पसंख्यक कल्याण मंत्रालय भारत सरकार को भेजा है।
