एआरटीओ कार्यालय में ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के लिए अक्टूबर माह तक के स्लॉट बुक किए जा चुके हैं। प्रतिदिन लर्निंग लाइसेंस 24 और स्थायी लाइसेंस 48 बनाए जा रहे हैं। ऑनलाइन प्रक्रिया के तहत ही स्लॉट की संख्या निर्धारित की गई है, ताकि कार्यालय में भीड़ न हो और सोशल डिस्टनसिंग का पालन किया जा सके। कोरोना संक्रमण से पहले स्थायी ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस 60 बनाए जाते रहे हैं। जिसमें लर्निंग के लिए कोई स्लॉट निश्चित नहीं किया गया था।
लक्ष्य से काफी पीछे कर दिया कोरोना ने:
कोरोना संक्रमण ने एआरटीओ की रोजाना कमाई पर काफी असर डाला है। राज्य सरकार को वाहन रजिस्ट्रेशन, परिवहन कर के साथ लाइसेंस रिन्यूवल और बनवाने में हर साल करोड़ों का राजस्व मिलता था। पिछले साल सितंबर में 42 करोड़ 26 लाख 91 हजार रुपए राजस्व के तौर पर मिले थे।इस बार यह आंकड़ा 22 करोड़ 26 लाख 91 हजार तक पहुंच सका।
एक अरब का मिला लक्ष्य:
एआरटीओ को इस बार एक अरब रुपए का राजस्व लक्ष्य मिला है।कोरोना संक्रमण काल के चलते 47 फीसद बीते साल की तुलना में विभाग पीछे चल रहा है। वही परिवहन कर जमा करने में पहले तीन महीने फिर छह महीने की सरकार ने छूट दे दी है। जिससे इस मद में विभाग को करोड़ों रुपए के राजस्व का नुकसान उठाना पड़ेगा।
संक्रमण ने वित्तीय स्थिति प्रभावित किया:
रुद्रपुर एआरटीओ प्रशासन पूजा नयाल ने बताया कि कोरोना संक्रमण ने विभाग की वित्तीय स्थिति को प्रभावित किया है। पूर्व में जो राजस्व लक्ष्य निर्धारित होता था वह वर्ष पूरा होने से पहले ही प्राप्त हो जाता रहा है। लेकिन इस बार लक्ष्य तक पहुंचना मुश्किल लग रहा है।
