उत्तराखंड में अब मिशन दालचीनी और तिमरू, CM धामी बोले- सगंध केंद्र निभाएगा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका
सगंध खेती को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में उत्तराखंड लंबी छलांग लगाने जा रहा है। इस कड़ी में पूरी तरह से सगंध फसलों के लिए समर्पित पहले उत्कृष्टता केंद्र का बुधवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने लोकार्पण किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य में दालचीनी और तिमरू मिशन प्रारंभ करने की घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि राज्य की जलवायु इन फसलों के लिए अनुकूल हैं। इनकी देशभर में मांग है।
दालचीनी व तिमरू को प्रोत्साहित किए जाने से जहां किसानों की आय में वृद्धि होगी, वहीं बंजर व बेकार पड़ी भूमि पर हरियाली लौटेगी। साथ ही रोजगार के अवसर भी सृजित होंगे।
उन्होंने सगंध क्षेत्र से उत्तराखंड के किसानों एवं युवाओं को हो रहे लाभ के दृष्टिगत सगंध पौधा केंद्र को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए इसे एक्ट के माध्यम से संस्थान के रूप में विकसित करने की घोषणा भी की।
सगंध पौधा केंद्र (कैप) सेलाकुई में सगंध फसल उत्कृष्टता केंद्र के लोकार्पण समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने कहा कि सगंध क्षेत्र में जिस प्रकार से कैप कार्य कर रहा है और जिस तरह से तकनीक के माध्यम से किसानों तक सुविधाएं पहुंचाई जा रही हैं, उसके लिए यह संस्थान बहुत सहायक सिद्ध होगा।
जिस तरीके से प्रदेश की खेती को जंगली जानवरों से नुकसान पहुंच रहा है। भौगोलिक परिस्थितियां भी कठिन हैं और वर्षा आधारित खेती है, ऐसी परिस्थिति में सगंध कृषि एक अच्छा विकल्प है।
कृषि एवं कृषक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि सगंध खेती से कृषकों की आय न सिर्फ बढ़ रही है, बल्कि उनमें उद्यमिता भी विकसित हो रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि सगंध फसल उत्कृष्टता केंद्र की हाईटेक नर्सरी से दालचीनी, तिमरू, सुरई, डेमस्क गुलाब की गुणवत्तायुक्त पौध किसानों को वर्षभर उपलब्ध होगी।
सगंध पौधा केंद्र के निदेशक डा. नृपेंद्र चौहान ने कहा कि उत्कृष्टता केंद्र की हाईटेक नर्सरी में ग्रीन हाउस, नेट हाउस की उपयोगिता कृषक हित में बहुमूल्य होगी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि सगंध पौधा केंद्र द्वारा गुणवत्तापूर्ण सगंध उत्पादन में वृद्धि के लिए लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
उत्तराखंड में पारंपरिक खेती के क्षेत्र में विभिन्न चुनौतियां हैं। राज्य के कृषि क्षेत्र में आ रही चुनौतियों व एरोमैटिक सेक्टर के बढ़ते बाजार को देखते हुए सगंध खेती व संबंधित उद्योगों को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से यहां पर संगध पौधा केंद्र की स्थापना की गई।
बुधवार को मुख्यमंत्री ने सेलाकुई स्थित सगंध पौधा केंद्र में सगंध फसल उत्कृष्टता केंद्र के लोकार्पण के दौरान कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में राज्य में आर्थिकी और पर्यावरण के मध्य समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए राज्य की परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप विकास पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हर क्षेत्र में विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से अच्छे परिणाम मिल रहे हैं। विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी का अधिक उपयोग कर किसानों की आय को बढ़ाने की दिशा में भी निरंतर प्रयास करने होंगे।
उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि यह केंद्र राज्य में सगंध फसलों को बढ़ावा देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। जिससे किसानों को आर्थिक लाभ मिलेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 2025 तक उत्तराखंड को अग्रणी राज्य बनाने के लिए सबको सामूहिक प्रयास करने होंगे। विभागों द्वारा अनेक योजनाओं पर कार्य किया जा रहा है, ताकि उत्तराखंड को देश का अग्रणी राज्य बनाया जा सके।
विकसित की जा रही सात एरोमा वैली:
इस दौरान कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि सगंध फसलों की सफल खेती को देखते हुए राज्य में वृहद रूप से खेती कराने के लिए राज्य में सात एरोमा वैली हरिद्वार जनपद में लैमनग्रास एवं मिंट वैली, नैनीताल और चंपावत जनपद में सिनामन वैली, चमोली और अल्मोडा जनपद में डेमस्क गुलाब वैली, उद्यमसिंह नगर जनपद में मिंट वैली, पिथौरागढ जनपद में तिमरू वैली एवं पौड़ी जनपद में लैमनग्रास वैली विकसित की जा रही है।
