उत्तराखंड की बेरोजगारी दर में जनवरी में दो प्रतिशत की कमी, चार राज्य ही देवभूमि से बेहतर स्थिति में
उत्तराखंड में नए साल के पहले महीने में बेरोजगारी दर दो प्रतिशत कम हुई है। दिसंबर 2022 में बेरोजगारी दर जहां 4.2 प्रतिशत थी वह घटकर जनवरी 2023 में 2.2 प्रतिशत रह गई है। सेंटर फार मानीटरिंग इंडियन इकोनमी (सीएमआइई) के एक फरवरी को जारी बेरोजगारी दर के आंकड़ों से यह निष्कर्ष निकला है। पर्यटन क्षेत्र में कारोबार ठीक रहने को इसके पीछे प्रमुख वजह माना जा रहा है।
दिसंबर के आखिरी सप्ताह से जनवरी के पूरे महीने को प्रदेश में पर्यटन कारोबार के लिहाज से अच्छा माना जाता है। पिछले दिसंबर 2022 में सीएमआइई के मुताबिक सर्वेक्षण में बेरोजगारी दर 4.2 प्रतिशत रिकार्ड की गई थी। यह सर्वेक्षण हर महीने 25 तारीख तक का अपडेट होता है। ऐसे में महीने का आखिरी हफ्ता अगले महीने के सर्वेक्षण में जुड़ता है।
यही वजह है कि क्रिसमस और नववर्ष मनाने के लिए प्रदेश में आने वाले पर्यटकों के चलते कारोबार में उछाल का असर जनवरी के आंकड़ों में देखने को मिल रहा है। इस दौरान प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थलों में मसूरी, नैनीताल, नई टिहरी, हरिद्वार, ऋषिकेश, लैंसडौन समेत कई अन्य स्थानों पर भारी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंचे। इसके बाद मुनस्यारी, बागेश्वर जैसे उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में बर्फबारी के चलते पर्यटन कारोबार भी अच्छा रहा।
कोविड के बाद जनवरी में हालात सुधरे : कोविड का प्रभाव कम होने के बाद उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन उद्योग में उछाल आया। वर्ष 2020 में जनवरी में बेरोजगारी दर 5.5 प्रतिशत पहुंच गई थी, जो पिछले तीन सालों में लगातार कम होती हुई नजर आ रही है। पिछले साल 42 लाख से अधिक यात्रियों ने चारधाम यात्रा की। इसके अलावा पर्यटन स्थलों पर भी बड़ी तादाद में यात्री पहुंचे। जिससे स्थानीय कारोबार उछला तो राज्य में भी बेरोजगारी दर कम हुई।
यूओयू एमबीपीजी क्षेत्रीय निदेशक व प्राध्यापक डा. संजय खत्री ने कहा कि प्रमुख स्थलों के विकसित होने से पर्यटन कारोबार का विस्तार हो रहा है। इसके अलावा नई शिक्षा नीति में भी मेक इन इंडिया प्रोग्राम लागू किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि विद्यार्थियों को एंटरप्रेन्योर बनाया जा सके। युवाओं को खुद का रोजगार या उद्यम स्थापित करने के लिए प्रेरित करने से रोजगार के क्षेत्र में काफी सकारात्मक परिणाम देखने को मिलेंगे।
नैनीताल होटल एंड रेस्टोरेंट एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष दिग्विजय बिष्ट ने कहा कि नए साल की शुरुआत में पर्यटकों के आने से कारोबार अच्छा रहा, जिसका फायदा होटल व्यवसायी, टैक्सी, नाव और अन्य कारोबारियों को मिला। हालांकि बर्फबारी होती तो स्थिति और बेहतर होती। कोविड की स्थिति सामान्य होने के बाद अब पर्यटन कारोबार में काफी सुधार हो रहा है। आगे और बेहतरी की उम्मीद है।
देश के चार राज्य ही उत्तराखंड से बेहतर स्थिति में:
चार राज्यों को छोड़कर अन्य सभी से उत्तराखंड की बेरोजगारी दर सबसे कम है। सीएमआई के मुताबिक छत्तीसगढ़ में 0.5, उड़ीसा में 1.5, तमिलनाडु में 1.8 और मध्य प्रदेश 1.9 प्रतिशत बेरोजगारी दर है। अधिक बेरोजगारी दर वाले राज्यों की बात करें तो दिल्ली 16.7, असम 16.1, बिहार 11.9, गोवा 16.2, हरियाणा 21.7, हिमाचल प्रदेश 10, जम्मू एंड कश्मीर 21.8, झारखंड 13.8, राजस्थान 21.1 और त्रिपुरा में 16 प्रतिशत है।
