SDM ने शहर की दशा सुधारने को विभागीय अधिकारियों के साथ किया निरीक्षण।
उपजिलाधिकारी मसूरी के नेतृत्व में शहर की व्यवस्था सुधारने के लिए निरीक्षण किया गया व विभागों का जरूरी निर्देश दिए गये। ताकि विंटर लाइन कार्निवाल से पहले सभी व्यवस्थाएं चौकस हो जायें। इसी कड़ी में लाइब्रेरी में चौड़ीकरण के तहत पानी की टंकी तोडनें का कार्य शुरू किया गया वहीं रेलिंग भी हटाई जायेगी ताकि वाहनों को आने जाने में हो रही परेशानी से निजात दिलाई जा सके।
एसडीएम शैलेंद्र नेगी ने निरीक्षण के बाद पत्रकारों को बताया कि इन दिनों जिलाधिकारी के निर्देश पर शहर की छोटी छोटी समस्याओं के निराकरण का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि टैक्सी स्टैण्ड किंक्रेग पार्किग में स्थानांतरित होगा जिसके तहत लाइब्रेरी व मैसानिक लॉज पर केवल बीस से पच्चीस टैक्सियां खड़ी रहेगी। बाकी टैक्सी किंक्रेग पार्किग में खड़ी होंगी व जरूरत के अनुसार आयेंगी। इस पर टैक्सी कार एसोसिएशन ने भी अपनी सहमति दे दी है और कहा कि शीघ्र टैक्सियां किंक्रेग पर पार्क होगी। वहीं मालरोड पर रिक्शा स्टैण्ड में केवल वहीं रिक्शा रहेंगे जो चल रहे हैं वहीं खडे रहेंगे बाकि रिक्शाआंें को वहां से हटाकर अन्यत्र पार्क करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मसूरी में 121 रिक्शा हैं जिनमें इन दिनों केवल तीस से चालीस रिक्शा चल रहे हैं इस संबंध में रिक्शा यूनियन से वार्ता की जायेगी। वहीं कहा कि लाइब्रेरी चौक पर चौडीकरण किया जा रहा है जिस पर नगर पालिका से वार्ता की गई व लाइब्रेरी बैरियर के सामने पानी की टंकी व रैलिंग हटाई जायेगी ताकि देहरादून जाने वाले वाहनों को परेशानी न हो यहां पर रैंप बनाया जायेगा जिस पर टंकी तोड़ने का कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया है। वहीं गांधी चौक पर रोटरी बनी थी जिससे वाहनों को आने जाने में परेशानी हो रही थी उसको एमडीडीए के माध्यम से हटवा दिया गया है। इस तरह के छोटे छोटेे कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। वहीं गांधी चौक पर ही पुलिस सूचना कंेद्र बना है उसे भी हटाया जायेगा व उसके नीचे पालिका के किरायेदार हैं उन्हें अन्यत्र भेजा जायेगा ताकि रोड का चौडी करण हो सके।
इस अवसर पर पालिकाध्यक्ष अनुज गुप्ता ने कहा कि मसूरी की व्यवस्था को सुधारने के लिए नगर प्रशाासन के सहयोग से किया जा रहा है जिस पर जिला प्रशासन के साथ बैठक हुई थी। जिसके तहत समस्याओं का किस तरह निराकरण किया जाय। इसी क्रम में टैक्सी स्टैण्ड से हटेंगे उन्होंने एक कार्यालय की मांग की है जिसे पूरा किया जायेगा। उन्हांेने कहा कि शहर सभी का है इसलिए शहर की व्यवस्था बनाने में सभी का सहयोग लिया जायेगा। ताकि आने वाले समय में किसी को परेशानी न हो। मसूरी में आने वाले दो तीन सालों में और अधिक भीड़ बढेगी उसको ध्यान में रखते हुए कार्य किया जा रहा है। लाइब्रेरी में जो किरायेदार है उन्हें अन्यत्र भेजा जायेगा ताकि कार्य पूरा हो सके।
इस मौके पर नायब तहसीलदार भौंपाल सिंह चौहान, नगर पालिका अधिशासी अधिकारी राजेश नैथानी, भाजपा मंडल अध्यक्ष मोहन पेटवाल, सभासद अरविंद सेमवाल, सतीश ढौडियाल, विद्युत विभाग के उपखंड अधिकारी पंकज थपलियाल, कोतवाल डीएस कोहली, पालिका अभियंता वेद प्रकाश वंदानी आदि मौजूद रहे।
