दावेदारी के लिए आधार तैयार करने लगे दिग्गज, उत्तराखंड की इस सीट पर कई नेताओं की नजर
अभी आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए डेढ़ वर्ष से अधिक समय शेष है, लेकिन उत्तराखंड में सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा के कई दिग्गज अपनी दावेदारी के लिए आधार तैयार करने लगे हैं। ऐसे सबसे अधिक नेता टिहरी राज परिवार की परंपरागत टिहरी लोकसभा सीट में नजर आ रहे हैं।
धामी कैबिनेट के वरिष्ठ सदस्य सुबोध उनियाल ने भी इस सीट से चुनाव लडऩे की तैयारी के संकेत दिए हैं। टिहरी से सांसद महारानी माला राज्यलक्ष्मी शाह के चुनाव न लडऩे की स्थिति में कई अन्य भाजपा नेता भी अपना अवसर तलाश रहे हैं। उत्तराखंड में भाजपा पिछले आठ वर्षों से अत्यंत मजबूत स्थिति में है।
भाजपा ने सभी पांचों सीटों पर फहराया था परचम
वर्ष 2009 के लोकसभा चुनाव में राज्य की पांचों सीटें कांग्रेस को मिली थीं, लेकिन वर्ष 2014 में स्थिति बिल्कुल परिवर्तित हो गई। पांचों सीटों पर भाजपा प्रत्याशियों ने जोरदार जीत दर्ज की।
वर्ष 2019 के चुनाव में एक बार फिर भाजपा ने अपना पिछला प्रदर्शन दोहराते हुए सभी पांचों सीटों पर परचम फहराया। इस वर्ष की शुरुआत में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा ने 70 में से 47 सीटों पर जीत हासिल कर दो-तिहाई बहुमत के साथ सत्ता पाई।
2024 में होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव को लेकर भाजपा नेता आश्वस्त:
इस दृष्टिकोण से देखा जाए तो वर्ष 2024 में होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव को लेकर भाजपा नेता आश्वस्त हैं। इसका एक बड़ा कारण यह भी है कि उसकी मुख्य प्रतिद्वंद्वी कांग्रेस अत्यंत कमजोर स्थिति में नजर आ रही है। रही-सही कसर पूरी हो गई है पार्टी के अंतर्कलह से। उत्तराखंड में कांग्रेस कई धड़ों में बंटी हुई है और पार्टी नेता मौका मिलते ही एक-दूसरे पर वार-पलटवार करने से नहीं चूकते।
राजनीतिक परिस्थितियों को पक्ष में देख अब भाजपा के कई वरिष्ठ नेता टिहरी सीट से स्वयं के लिए संभावनाएं तलाशने में जुट गए हैं। इसका एक कारण यह भी है कि राजनीतिक गलियारों में चर्चा है कि वर्तमान सांसद संभवतया अगला चुनाव न लड़ें। कैबिनेट मंत्री व नरेद्र नगर से भाजपा विधायक सुबोध उनियाल ने नरेंद्र नगर में एक कार्यक्रम में लोकसभा चुनाव लडऩे की तैयारी के संकेत दिए।
उनियाल के अलावा पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री विजय बहुगुणा को भी इस सीट से दावेदार समझा जा रहा है। बहुगुणा ने मार्च 2016 में आठ अन्य कांग्रेस विधायकों के साथ भाजपा का दामन थामा था। बहुगुणा ने इसके बाद वर्ष 2017 व 2022 का विधानसभा चुनाव भी नहीं लड़ा।
यद्यपि उनके पुत्र सौरभ बहुगुणा धामी कैबिनेट का हिस्सा हैं।इनके अलावा भाजपा विधायक मुन्ना सिंह चौहान और संगठन में कई महत्वपूर्ण पद संभाल चुके ज्योति प्रसाद गैरोला की भी टिहरी सीट से दावेदारी हो सकती है। वैसे अभी इन्होंने चुनाव लडऩे को लेकर अपने पत्ते नहीं खोले हैं।
