मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को विजय दिवस के अवसर पर गांधी पार्क देहरादून में शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर शहीद जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा है कि भारत के सैन्य इतिहास में 16 दिसम्बर वीरता व पराक्रम का ऐतिहासिक दिन है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने देश की एकता एवं अखंडता के लिए अपना सर्वस्व न्यौछावर करने वाले जवानों को नमन करते हुए कहा कि हमारे इन जवानों की वजह से सभी चैन की नींद सोते हैं। देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की सदैव देशभक्ति व राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण की भावना रही है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने हमेशा देश के सैनिकों का मनोबल बढ़ाने का कार्य किया है।
इस अवसर पर सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी, विधायक खजानदास, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून डॉ. आर राजेश कुमार भी उपस्थित थे।
